Senior Security Consultant
Consciere LLC is looking for motivated security professionals who are interested in building their career with a new information security consulting firm. The successful candidate will be self motivated, seasoned, and willing to take on the fast paced environment of a startup firm. Travel is required in order to meet the demands of our clients in various locations within the US. We currently have openings in Seattle and Denver for Senior Consultants and Security Engineers.
Title: Senior Security Consultant
Reports To: Director of Consulting
Description: The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading engagement teams in the delivery of Consciere services to clients. Security skills should cover multiple practice areas including governance, risk & compliance (GRC), application security, penetration testing, and security program development. The Senior Consultant must have strong writing skills, be an excellent communicator, and have the ability to lead and mentor teams of Security Engineers throughout the delivery process.
Required Qualifications:
· Five or more years consulting in the security industry
· Strong background and understanding of regulatory standards
· Ability to deliver & manage projects to specific timelines
· Ability to manage project scope
· Ability to determine customer needs and scope projects
· Ability to present deliverables in a manner well understood by executive and technical personnel
· Knowledgeable of various programming languages
· Knowledgeable of common computing platforms
· Knowledgeable of common security assessment tools
· Strong leadership skills
· Strong communications skills
· Excellent writing skills
Travel Requirements: Up to 50% travel may be required as we grow the business.
Education: BS in a technical field or equivalent life experience.
